Thank you for your interest in my work!
My creative process kinda goes like this: I need to be very spaced out to create, so I try to relax a bit, I put on some nice music. Sometimes I have visions of how I want the final product to look, other times I haven’t a clue as what I am doing.
I start to pick up random parts and begin with once piece. It sort of evolves into the final piece after some time. It may take a few hours to complete a piece or it may take several days. What motivates me: Unfortunately its my dark dreams. I have very disturbing dreams when I am at rest. I also like competition, it fuels my fire and makes me work much harder. I love it!My work space is most of my apartment. Please feel free to share my etsy link on your blog, thank you!!!

About destructivetesting

I'm a self-taught artist who prefers to use found objects in ways that were never intended. I'm not interested in making 10 or 100 of the same object. This, of course, takes more time to make each piece. I also prefer a more minimalist look, where each part of a piece can be appreciated. I consider my clocks to be small sculptures with moving parts. And, my lamps to be small sculptures with light. My mirrors are reflective sculptures. DESTRUCTIVE TESTING means to push something to it's limits to understand it's structural performance or material behavior under different stresses. I interpret this in my artwork as using materials in different ways or combinations than they were designed to be used. I also just like the slightly ominous sound of the term...
